The University of Northampton is a higher education establishment situated in the heart of England and offers various subjects at undergraduate and postgraduate level. The University is globally renowned in subject specialisms such as Waste Management, Leather Technology and Fashion.

As part of the University's new strategy, it aims to be the top university in the UK for social enterprise by 2015. Their social enterprise strategy is based on a desire to be distinctive, forward-thinking and responsible.

Steve Slade, Data Centre Manager at the University of Northampton clarified how "We chose the KEMP LoadMaster appliances after initially visiting the KEMP Technologies website and looking at specifications and performance against price. This was followed by an introductory meeting with System Professional and a detailed technical session to run through some of the questions we had."

As part of a due diligence procurement exercise, Steve explained how "We then compared these outcomes with those of two other well-known load balancer products and came to the conclusion that for us the KEMP Technologies LoadMaster products offered the best value for money."
