System Professional HP Blade Project

Greg Cooke, IT Infrastructure Manager at Age Concern and Help the Aged, has commended System Professional following a recent HP Blade Centre and VMware deployment. Age Concern and Help the Aged required specialist help connecting HP Blade servers to their new core switching environment. They chose System Professional, a leading HP 2010 Preferred Partner, to assist with the configuration and hardware implementation. This project also involved an extension of the existing VMware environment and help with the backup of the enhanced virtual infrastructure.

On 1 April 2009, Age Concern England and Help the Aged joined together to create a new charity dedicated to improving the lives of older people. Operating under the name 'Age Concern and Help the Aged', the organisation speaks with one voice on behalf of all older people.

Age Concern and Help the Aged is a single organisation with one clear objective – to make a real difference to the lives of older people. By combining the unique strengths, skills and experience of these two great charities, it has created one united organisation that will be stronger and more influential than ever before.

Greg explained how ‘The team at System Professional have been a great help around our HP Blade and virtual environment. As HP Preferred Partners they are clearly specialists in their field and really knew the HP Blade technologies in some detail. Their VMware expertise has also been useful to call on where we've upgraded our virtual environment for DR and High Availability purposes.’
