SEGA Europe have worked closely with System Professional to reduce their IT operational costs, increase system availability and carry out Global Microsoft Domain and Exchange upgrades across the business.

System Professional initially met with Stuart Wright (IT Director – Europe) at the SEGA Europe UK Head Office to discuss the future IT strategy of the business. Stuart had been recently appointed as the new IT Director for Europe and wanted to explain his strategic IT plans, highlighting areas where System Professional could complement his existing IT team’s skills and technical ability.

Stuart had inherited a legacy Data centre environment, with ageing equipment that had grown organically over a number of years. The server infrastructure wasn’t standardised, proved difficult to manage and was inefficient in terms of power consumption and space utilisation.
